Cantus has been invited to join a delegation of doctors and a pastoral team from Westminster Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis to visit Cameroon, west Africa for the Presbyterian Church's 50th anniversary jubilee celebration in that country.
We have arranged quite a few performances during our thirteen-day tour, and we couldn't be more excited. This blog is the place to visit to read about our trip firsthand from members of Cantus, hopefully with frequent updates, pictures, and perhaps even digital media.
As we count down the days until our departure, all of us have been visiting the travel clinic to get our shots (ouch!), ordering cool linen shirts to battle the heat, and rehearsing for our kick-off shows in the States before we do the twenty-four hours of travel from Minneapolis to Chicago to Brussels to Douala.
